Wonderful. I liked it very much, it is a wonderful international team and I really enjoy working together with such a good producer, cameraman, make-up artist and stylists for costume, hair and set. Especially because I met some of my former team members of my last cinema production this year which is a little bit like ‘family’ and coming home.
The spot – as always of course – is about beauty, in this case a very scientific topic, as this time, Diadermine have developed a special cream in cooperation with a specialist in beauty – a cream which transports the active ingredients in deep skin layers which is quite difficult. This means, that the ingredients are not only working superficially on the epidermis, but also nourish the skin which is good for you. The tests made have really shown its rejuvenating effect and it makes you very beautiful. And am very happy that I am one of the very first who can try this cream.
Film production, TV spot production - is there any difference for you?
Yes, of course. When it comes to fiction there is much more interaction with the partners, much more text, much more production workload per day to cope with whereas here we produce, I think, 20 seconds in two days and it depends on the accurateness of every second, it depends on every single frame how you play, how you say something, how is the rhythm of the spot, because one has only a very little time to convey the story we want to tell.
And what do you personally enjoy?
Very different. I really like it here, I always enjoy many languages at the set, I love multi-cultural atmosphere and I am always curious about people from other countries. And presently I much enjoy this here.
Do you have a tip, a special advice of how to quickly and easily relax in very stressful moments?
Well, while always trying to keep your sense of humour. I personally think that laughter is the best medicine. Not only when you have little aches and pains, but also in stressful situations. And when you keep a certain ironic distance to yourself and still know to laugh about yourself… this is very relaxing and stress-reducing. Apart from that, which, of course, is very important for daily work, that you preserve your small little island of calm and relaxation, and that - what is most important for me after a long day at the set - I have the possibility to make sport.
For example, during the production of the last film „Die Patin“ (The godmother) at the end of the day I always went for a jog home and the driver always picked me up at a certain point – I came home, soaked with sweat, I immediately took a shower .. and with this physical exercise and all these endorphins circulating you can feel yourself … Taking the shower is like cleaning to get rid off the daily stress and I felt … yes, like a new woman.
Perhaps also a special tip from you for facial relaxation?
Yes, this new wonderful method …. this cream developed by Diadermine in cooperation with Dr. Caspari. He has also developed this special massage technique: starting from the top, going down along the eyebrows. So, when you start here, at the inner side of the eye moving at the root of the nose and then move outwards – very important the acupuncture, the acupuncture point no. 7 here exact at the beginning of the root of the nose – when you press firmly (even if you do not hit exactly the point for the needle) .. but this causes relaxation.
And, of course, what is also very relaxing is to ask a colleague or - in my case - to ask your make-up artist to give you a short massage to relax your shoulders.
Is it difficult to learn this (facial) technique?
No, it is very easy, but it is all about in the method described by Dr. Caspari and the cooperation together with Diadermine. Yes, for beauty and also for relaxation. Relaxation is most important to feel beautiful, to feel oneself, to do something good for you, which is most important and which belongs together to stay young.
For which beauty problem would you consult a specialist?
Well, the thing I found most surprising and that is also what Dr. Caspari told me, that there are certain kinds of analyses for example the blood picture, where you can individually see, which vitamins or which minerals are missing, and that the individual combination is composed in cooperation with a pharmacy. Targeting the individual deficit in order to achieve accurate solution is certainly smarter and more efficient then to take 10 vitamin C tablets or whatever.
So, if you know individually what you need and what you have enough or even too much of … this is actually the perfect way of anti-ageing: it is useful and – except for one slight needle prick – it does not hurt.
But in other cases, such as any kind of skin irritation, sun allergy or anything around .. I would always consult a dermatologist because I would never try anything on my own with my skin.
And what is also most important is to protect oneself from free radicals meaning to always leave home with a high sun protection filter, every day, even in winter and to provide the skin with moisture and - especially important for us women – to remove the daily make-up, to eat healthy food, to make sport and to spoil skin and body with moisture.
Anti-ageing treatments from the doctor. Is that a topic for you?
Anti-ageing treatments I just talked about. Due to the wonderful cooperation with Diadermine and all the scientists offering me the possibility to always being up to date regarding scientific progress of anti-ageing products such as cream, eye masks, face mask or via cleansing – this is the only method of anti-ageing for me, nothing else. But, of course, I am lucky … Because Diadermine invest a lot in research to be innovative and up to date - and this is really excellent.
Many thanks.
